Upcoming CEO change at Adcubum

• Dr. Steven Neubauer becomes CEO of Adcubum AG and will drive growth in Switzerland and continental Europe

• Emanuele Diquattro is returning to his roots in the insurance business at his own request. He remains associated with Adcubum as an investor.

• Until Steven Neubauer joins the company, COO Marc Ammann will lead the management team on an ad interim basis

Dr. Steven Neubauer will become CEO of Adcubum AG as of November 7, 2022. Emanuele Diquattro is returning to his roots in the insurance business at his own request. He will remain associated with Adcubum as an investor. Until Steven Neubauer joins the company, COO Marc Ammann will take over the leadership of the management team on an ad interim basis as of September 1, 2022. The group continues to pursue its growth strategy to build the leading provider of health, property, and casualty insurance software in Europe. 

The Board of Directors of Adcubum AG appoints Steven Neubauer (46) as CEO of Adcubum AG as of November 7, 2022. For the last three years as CEO of Comparis, he has been responsible for the professionalization of the online comparison service and has initiated and driven the transformation of the business model. Through his work at Comparis, he is familiar with the representatives of the Swiss health insurance and insurance industry. He previously served as a member of the Executive Board of the NZZ Media Group and as Managing Director of the "NZZ Medien" business unit. In this role, he was responsible for all B2C and B2B activities of NZZ Medien and pushed the digital transformation of the company. Prior to that, he was an
Associate Partner and a member of the leadership of the Telecoms, Media, and Technology practice at McKinsey, primarily supporting European companies in defining and implementing growth strategies. Steven Neubauer is married, has four children, and holds both Swiss and German citizenships.

The current Adcubum CEO Emanuele Diquattro has actively supported the Board of Directors in the search for his successor. He is joining the insurtech wefox, where he will become Country Head Switzerland as of November. Emanuele Diquattro will remain associated with Adcubum as an investor and supports the company’s strategy. “It was a very personal decision. I felt the need to take on a new challenge that is closer to the insurance business,” says Diquattro. Together with COO Marc Ammann, who will take over the leadership team at Adcubum on an ad interim basis as of September 1, 2022, he will ensure a smooth transition in the coming weeks.

Just recently, Adcubum announced new members to the executive team with Dr. Eike Schmidt as CTO and Dean Gluyas as CFO. Steven will continue to drive Adcubum's growth in Switzerland and continental Europe and, together with the organization, develop and launch further innovative products for our customers."
