We are looking for Senior Architect Cloud Technologies based at one of our locations in Germany or in Zagreb for our Technology Unit.
Job description
With your expertise and passion, you shape the next chapter of our insurance platform and bring Adcubum Syrius to the Cloud.
Your tasks
- own the internal cloud runtime platform architecture of Adcubum Syrius
- advance cloud-native operability as a core quality within Adcubum Syrius' development lifecycle
- proliferate cloud technologies knowledge within Adcubum
- shape the overall architecture of Adcubum Syrius in a team with other architecture specialists
- work with our platform development teams to ensure smooth delivery & operation of Adcubum Syrius in cloud-native, containerized, and classic bare-metal environments
- enable our business-oriented development teams to meet operability and resilience requirements
- be partner, coach and consultant of product owners, technical and business-oriented development teams and our colleagues from technical consulting - from first planning until delivery and execution
- collaborate with a broad range of Adcubum teams and roles, in order to explain and implement cloud operability requirements
- keep up to date with ongoing developments and innovations with regards to cloud platform operations
Our requirements
- ability to navigate different abstraction layers
- strong analytic, communicative and organizational skills
- communicative and customer-minded personality with a high degree of responsibility
- you are able to consult with our customers in different areas of cloud operations
- pro-active mindset and focus on appropriate & pragmatic solutions
- you have practical experience as cloud operations engineer / cloud solutions architect
- you have solid experience in cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift; Hyperscaler offerings - AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- studies in informatics, computer science, software engineering or similar
- very good English skills (written & spoken)
This is a plus
- solid background in software engineering with a Java technology stack
- ability to communicate in German
